A little dog survived thanks to a group of heroic and caring children who acted just in time to save her.

Fortunately, there are people who are angels on earth who are simply in the world to help others thanks to their big hearts. These people are empathetic and sensitive to the pain of others and never have an indifferent look towards the beings who suffer around them.

They are always ready to offer a helping hand, comfort, support, any gesture that can help alleviate those who are in danger, or have a problem.

Kenneth, Kenny, Andrew and Kevin , from Detroit, United States, are four little heroes who go around the world doing feats to help those most in need. They have an incredible sense of protection.

It all started when these heroes were helping an older neighbor move her things because she was moving, and in the distance they saw something that broke their hearts.

It was a dog tied with strong and firm ropes in the backyard of a house in the area.

The dog was very weak and hungry, it was obvious that she had been in the place for a long time, suffering the ravages of neglect and abandonment.

The poor thing was malnourished, sad and immobile. They knew that something was very wrong and although they were confused, they did not hesitate to leave her there dying.

The children were very moved by the situation of the poor dog who was so vulnerable and defenseless.

They knew they had to seek help in order to save the dog ‘s life .

So they decided to release the ropes that bound her, wrapped her in a jacket and took her to a safe place.

They named her Sparkle and from that moment they promised not to abandon her and to do everything in their power to get the dog back to health.

They gave him food and water while making sure he stayed safe. 

One day they took her for a walk in the neighborhood and luckily they ran into the Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue team , the boys quickly did not hesitate to contact them and told them Sparkle’s sad story.

The rescuers listened very carefully and decided to publicize Sparkle’s case to help find her a new home.

“You can tell these guys adore the dog . They always look out for his protection from her and want to make sure she ends up with a good family,” Theresa Sumpter, founder of the organization, told WDIV.

Sparkle was taken to the vet, who ruled out the initial diagnosis of mange given by rescuers. However, her low weight was very worrying.

It is presumed that during the entire time she was tied up in the place she had neither food nor water . Someone ruthless had left her to her fate, tied to her without even giving her the chance to seek help to survive.

Fortunately after a few weeks of treatment and a good diet Sparkle was on the mend and ready to be adopted.

Through teamwork, an animal organization close to Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue found the perfect foster home for Sparkle, whose life was turned upside down.

After Sparkle’s rescue, the children saved two other stray puppies and handed them over to DPCDR, who called their work “heroes”. 

Now, the dog has a better life, recovering from the consequences of the negligence she suffered and will have the love of a family that offers her protection and that does watch over her well-being until her last breath.

Kenneth, Kenny, Andrew and Kevin acted like true heroes. In case they hadn’t sought help for the dog, she would have had the worst outcome of her suffering slowly without being able to run away. They saved her life and gave the world a valuable example of love and solidarity.
