A charming video captures a three-year-old elephant named Nandi joyfully playing with a rubber ball at Reid Park Zoo in Tucson, Arizona.
In the video, Nandi is seen running alongside her mother, Semba, when she spots a large ball. Her ears perk up with excitement as she dashes towards it.
She places her front foot on top of the ball, steadies herself, and appears to smile as she throws her snout into the air.
Born in August 2014 at Reid Park Zoo, Nandi is an African elephant living with her parents, Semba and Mabu.
The zoo estimates she weighs between 250 and 300 pounds. Her name, “sweet” or “fun” in Zulu, perfectly matches her playful personality.
