Rescuing an animal from the street to provide it with the warmth of a home is an experience that has changed the lives of those who now have them as pets. The traces of injustice and its consequences are marks that gradually disappeared in Lady, thanks to the love of those who now care for her.
Lady must have traveled a path of thorns, subjected to the cruelest desolation. She was found chained and alone by the pro-animal organization PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), and now she has a loving family that makes her forget her sad past.
She was found on the muddy ground in the patio of a house, unfairly tied up by her former manager. It was an infamous place, unsuitable for keeping her there, as it easily flooded every time it rained .
This seemed to matter little to who should take care of her. This undesirable , cruel and inhuman being did not move a finger to get her out of there. He didn’t feed her either , which made her life situation even more bloody.
Several times, over the years, PETA activists were present at the site for years to ask this person to release her , so that Lady could have a second chance at life. However, the man refused to take her out of that dirty yard.
“Lady was desperately alone and kept in a muddy area that flooded when it rained. For years, PETA field workers visited her and tried to persuade her caretaker to hand her over,” PETA reported in a post posted on their social media accounts.
Obviously, the dog grew and with it her depression and mistrust of humans. She did not even leave her house for fear of being violated. However, after a lot of work to relate to Lady and try to convince that subject, her volunteers managed to rescue her from her.
“Persistence finally paid off, and after her manager agreed to let PETA have her, her entire world changed,” they added from the organization.
After a long recovery process, the dog closed the last page of her past . Her old life was completely transformed when, while at the shelter, an extraordinary family visited her and immediately fell in love with her. They decided to adopt her to give her the love and home that she deserved from her.
She was renamed Wolfie von Fluffer Bottom , a name she seems to adore, by the way, as whenever she is called she happily runs off into the warm, tender arms of her relatives.
Now she has a human little brother and another with a tail, ideal for playing, sleeping warmly, licking and cuddling.
And it is that, it is necessary to consider that a dog means a responsibility as big as it is to raise a child . They are souls that also suffer from indolence and inattention, just like any other person.
Fortunately, Wolfie von Fluffer Bottom was given a new lease on life.
