This super-speed excavating machine was developed by Nextrencher, a Spanish company with more than 30 years of experience in designing, manufacturing and using slicers.
The digging part of this ‘monster’ machine is designed in the form of a crawler with sharp teeth capable of cutting hard soil and soft rock. In addition to digging soil, this machine also has the ability to suck up excavated soil and push it directly through the pipe into the truck on the side or immediately discharge it to the side of the ditch being dug. This machine moves on crawlers and can dig trenches 1.5m wide and up to 5.5m deep.
This ‘monster’ machine is designed to specialize in digging trenches, canals, oil and gas pipelines. With its compact design, it is also capable of digging trenches to bury water supply and drainage pipes or underground fiber optic cables in urban and city environments.
In urban environments, the sprockets of this machine are replaced by wheels so as not to damage sidewalks and asphalt roads. At the same time, Nextrencher also developed an alternative cutting disc so that it can dig trenches up to 1.20 meters deep and 30cm wide, ideal for underground fiber optic cable installation.
Nextrencher also offers many other optimization solutions so that this machine can be suitable for many different types of infrastructure projects, helping to reduce the amount of equipment needed and increase flexibility.
