All parents who have a pet  in the house  are concerned about the closeness that our baby can have with furry ones . How can the dog or cat be integrated into the new dynamics of a family with a newborn? That is one of the most frequent questions we can ask ourselves.

And it is that ,  before having children, pets are the center of our attention, the darlings of the house that in one way or another may feel displaced with the arrival of a baby in the family. 

But not in this story. In a tender publication, a video that has touched users on social networks, you can see a self-sacrificing puppy taking on the main responsibility for the protection of his new best human friend from the newborn.

Some love relationships take time to develop , but not in this case because, as soon as the puppy saw and sniffed the new member of the family, he knew that they would be together for life.

“ He is delighted and obsessed with the new baby and never leaves him alone ”, commented the mother.

In the tender images  you can see  the infant  enjoying  a relaxed winter afternoon, lying  in diapers, without any concern that  upsets him.

Only his canine escort remains alert to any requirement on his part, since the little animal has already chosen the little one as his new comrade and best friend.

Also, with its head and front legs, the puppy slowly covers the newborn with its favorite blanket to protect it from the cold , while the baby  looks at its pet and smiles  happily to have it by its side .

“ She stays by his side all day, looking at him with tenderness and suspicion. We introduced them a few days ago and although they just met, the puppy has already chosen him as his best friend for life , “said the newborn’s parents .

There are few things stronger than the love a pet feels for its human . Despite being of completely different races and not being able to communicate with the same language, animals are unconditional beings , capable of giving themselves entirely  to anyone  who cares for them and  respects them  .

Many times animals are true examples of behavior for humans. Whether out of instinct, love or just concern,  this story shows that animals are beings full of kindness  and  that they are willing to give themselves  to everyone equally.

Their loyalty, sense of sacrifice, appreciation of friendship and the affection they offer to others are worthy of admiration , but also an example to imitate. Likewise, this little boy’s smile reminds us that all human beings are born with this predisposition to love and respect all the creatures that share this  beautiful, but also lately battered planet  with us.
