Anyone could assume that animal shelters change the life of a stray forever and the matter is largely true, but not entirely. People still prefer puppies to adopt, so adult dogs continue to experience the cruelty of rejection , even after being released from the streets.

This is the case of poor Prince, a furry old man who lives in a shelter in  Strasbourg ,  France , from which he hopes that someone will take pity on him and want to take him home.

This German shepherd was saved from the hands of abusive owners in December of last year, after a neighbor denounced the precarious conditions in which he was kept.

But the years of abuse and neglect have not passed in vain, this little dog not only suffers from his advanced age, but he is almost blind and suffers from hearing problems.

Prince’s current health conditions are unfortunate and despite the care they deteriorate even more every day.

“ Prince , born in 2007 , has been in the shelter since December 3, 2020. Having stopped being abused at age 12, after a life of deprivation and neglect, Prince was, for the first time, lucky enough  to  be rescued . We do everything possible to  take care of him and provide him with what is necessary for him to recover his good shape , “the shelter reported.

Given his current state, the organization has launched a special campaign to find a loving home for Prince.

“Animated by a beautiful energy, he is almost deaf, almost blind, but appreciates pampering, the warmth of a comfortable interior and beautiful walks.

To preserve his peace and his age, we will not place him with children, he has been too much bothered by them in his past. If you want to do a good deed, give us a call,  Prince is a dog who deserves a great ending in life ,” the organization said.

As would happen with any person at the end of his days, this dog deserves to perish in a harmonious way and enjoy his golden years surrounded by true love.

This is the purpose pursued by the organization through the Prince adoption campaign. The ideal place for this furry is a quiet home, without children who can disturb its harmony since the furry does not have the same energies as before.
