Children are fantastic! They possess so many wonderful features that spending time with them is an absolute delight. Children are a gift. At least, that’s how it feels most of the time. I mention this because there are times when children, particularly toddlers, pout, stomp their feet, and scream as if the world is ending and they have nowhere to hide.
When this happens, it’s difficult to know what to do as a parent so that the tantrum may be put to a stop as quickly as possible. It turns out that not only human parents, but also animal parents, must cope with this issue. Take a peek at the mother elephant in the video. When her child throws a temper tantrum in the middle of the road, she leaps into action and does what all mothers do best: she takes charge!
“We waited, but the ladies and other elephants moved into the roadside thicket after a few minutes of roadside grazing,” Antonio da Cruz, who watched the entire episode, recounted. “This tiny boy had been standing in the center of the road for quite some time, and he was adamant about staying put. He looked over at his mother after flailing his legs, head, and tail a few times, and she called his bluff by going farther into the bush. He sprang to his feet, stared at us, and then ran after her.”
The mother elephant appears unconcerned, knowing that if she holds her calm, the tantrum would pass much more quickly. This is adorable on a whole other level! I’m not sure what else will brighten your day if this gorgeous footage doesn’t! Take a look at the amusing scenario below!
