When the Australian couple discovered it, the python had swallowed most of the bat, leaving only the long black wings. But over 30 minutes later, the python was able to swallow the entire prey into its stomach.
The python enjoys its meal perched in the tree.
“We were filming from a distance of just 20 cm, but the python wasn’t scared,” said Mille Stoevring. “It was an incredible sight.”

Mrs. Stoevring said that after finishing swallowing its prey, the python hung its body vertically on a tree branch with its abdomen slightly swollen. It then slowly slid into the bushes to rest.
