Serena Williams has shared a candid clip giving a glimpse at her busy life as a mother-of-two to kick off 2024 as she pulled off her wig after a night out

The clip showed her pulling off her wig and sighing after returning from CFDA Fashion Awards in November where she won the Fashion Icon Award

‘That’s coming home from winning icon of the year,’ Serena’s friend said behind the  camera in reference to Fashion Icon Award.

On the night she wore a black sequin floor-length gown and a billowing cape with a cascading train.

Williams reflected on that night and what it’s been like to be a mother-of-two in the caption of her TikTok, writing: ‘My 2023 included having a baby.’

‘After having a baby it kind of feels like you got hit by a bus. Not only your body, but your mind too. (Well, at least for me.)

‘Here’s to 2024 … And getting my mind and body back!’

Serena also took to Instagram on Monday to show her 17.1 million followers how she brought in the New Year.

The sporting star uploaded outtakes of her and her family hitting the ocean on a raft.

Williams was joined by husband Alexis and their six-year-old daughter Olympia as they took to the water.

The adults wore gray life vests while Alexis, who became a big sister to the couple’s second child in August, looked adorable in a pink variety.

As she got home she was quick to dote on her youngest daughter but looked tired from the night out as she juggled being a new mum and other commitments

In a caption to her fans, the retired athlete declared, ‘Yea we doing the unexpected for 2024… keep em guessing.’

Serena’s hair was styled in blonde faux locks and she donned a stylish pair of sunglasses in some of the footage.

In other fun snapshots, the family dressed up as pirates as they enjoyed the outdoors on a yacht.

Little Olympia donned black and red striped trousers, a ruffled white shirt, and a black vest with gold buttons.

She also rocked a thick red headband while her mom complemented her in a black and red asymmetric skirt.

The acclaimed sports star added a black blouse with long bell sleeves as she played with her firstborn child.

Two days earlier she was also active on the photo-sharing platform as she uploaded multiple photos from a hike.

She was dressed in a black co-ord consisting of skintight leggings and a snug-fitting zip-up jacket.

Serena and her husband welcomed their second daughter, who the named Adira, in August 2023.

Also on Monday, she took to Instagram Stories with a funny clip showing her removing her blonde wig as she cradled her baby.

Back in November Serena gave her 1.6 million followers a look at a personal moment at home via a TikTok snippet. In the clip, Olympia adorably pinched her baby sister’s cheeks while talking to her.
