The funeral mask of Tutankhamun. Dating back to the New Kingdom around the middle of the fourteenth century BC, it is made of pottery, semi-precious stones, and gold. Initially discovered in Tutankhamun’s tomb in the Valley of the Kings, it is currently housed in the Cairo Museum.
