Owl always love you 🦉❤️

Some wonderful photographs have been shot of a touching moment between a pair of barn owls.

Sisters rather than breeding partners, the devoted duo were snuggled together in a tree.

Leslie Arnott, 55, from Staffordshire, snapped the event while teaching people how to shoot static and flying birds of prey as part of a Country Events and Falconry collaboration.

‘The owls are taught, but they are allowed to fly freely in the woods so that clients may photograph them.’ Leslie expressed her thoughts.

When Mr Arnott saw the two ‘kissing’ each other, he claimed he had never seen anything like it.

‘The duo soared for a while before sharing their special moment because the conditions were pretty difficult in the dark forest.’

‘It was really lovely when they alighted on the limb and started a little intimacy together, despite the fact that the birds are taught.’

‘They began caressing their heads and were pretty loving. Then there was the moment when they appeared to kiss.’

‘It was probably not deliberate, but it was a moment I’d never seen before or since, despite several attempts to persuade them to repeat it for others.’

‘They appeared to be trying to kiss, but I guess we’ll never know for sure.’

‘These owls are highly devoted toward one another and work well together, but they are not a breeding couple; instead, they are sisters.’

‘They continued to be affectionate with each other for about three minutes, but the kissing happened twice during that time.’

‘It was as much chance as ability that allowed me to capture the split second moment, and I’m delighted I did.’
