Lola is an adorable little dog who, since she arrived at her temporary home, has shown to have a rather peculiar personality . Her story began when she was taken in by a local shelter, when she was sterilized she presented some health problems that left her unable to walk .

Lola lives on a farm with other rescued animals.

Within months of her intervention, Big Hearts for Big Dogs did everything possible to find her a foster home, due to her condition she needed constant attention and to be surrounded by people who were committed to giving her all the care she needed.

Her new foster family had her for two years before agreeing to adopt her as an official member of the family .

He loves to attract attention and receive lots of cuddles.

Lola lives on a farm with other animals , all rescued. Since she arrived at her new home, this sweet dog revealed that she had a unique personality that completely melted her family. Annie Belanger Burley , Lola’s mother, commented:

“We’ve had it for six years. We have no idea how old she is, but she literally doesn’t age. She has the most amazing temperament, but she’s a total weirdo! She requires to be tucked in at night. She is dumb, snores when she is awake, others think she is growling, but in reality she is just breathing. She has looks that she could kill for. Sometimes her happy face seems like a pout”.

This beautiful fluffball loves to be pampered. She loves going out with her mother to get snow cones , although she doesn’t show much emotion it is something she enjoys once she has her favorite ice cream in front of her. They usually go several times a week to Pelican Snowballs in North For Myers, United States .

“Her favorite ice cream is chicken broth served with a Milk-Bone on top. When she gets excited, she usually looks away from her most of the time,” Annie said.

Annie recently decided to order a simple snow cone from him because she had an upset stomach and didn’t want it to get complicated.

She was far from imagining that Lola would reject the cone and change her attitude , she had become a spoiled dog, she had no intention of eating the simple cone and she made it clear. In this regard, Annie highlighted:

“She refused to eat it all the way home and gave me her usual sidelong look.”

Lola let the snow cone melt next to her and kept her head down during the entire ride home.

Although Lola did not understand her mother’s intentions, we are sure that in future trips she will be able to enjoy many more cones of the flavor of her choice.

Sometimes it is necessary to limit your cravings if your health is affected . We wish Lola to be completely healthy and to continue enjoying the farm with the rest of her friends and all her family who love her so much.
