A mother from Texas, USA, showed her cold blood when she removed a snake from the engine of her daughter’s car.
Mothers are superheroes by nature, they face everything and everyone to protect their children; for them there is no enemy too big, scary or strong.
Nicole Graham, a Texas mother and newfound reptile hunter, made headlines after finding a scaly visitor in the engine of her daughter Haylie’s car.
The girl captured the moment Graham, who calls the animal a baby, calmly moves and slowly removes the creature from the car. Graham owns a company called ‘The Garden Hen’, which builds chicken coops in backyards, and explained to the news channel Fox26Houston that dealing with snakes is part of her job.
Knowing how to act in a situation like this, she warns: “Catching snakes is not for everyone. Obviously, you always need to be cautious because it is not always a non-venomous snake, like this one.” The species that got tangled in the car engine, a rat snake, is found in many parts of North America, but does not pose a threat to humans.
In the footage captured by Haylie, we see Graham wearing gloves as he fearlessly grabs the snake by the tail and guides it to a ruler for better handling. Would you be so brave?
