The moment he takes a sniff ❤
Janna Berger and her beloved dog Murphy were separated for eight months while she was in army training. The affection they shared, on the other hand, remained undiminished.
Berger told The Dodo, “I thought about Murphy every day.” “It was the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do to be away from him.”
Murphy, too, was missing her.
Murphy never forgot about his faraway pal when he returned home to Berger’s parents.
“My mother informed me in the first letter she gave me that Murphy had been waiting outside my room door every day since I’d gone,” Berger stated.
But, after such a long time apart, she and Murphy were finally reunited.
Berger shared a beautiful video of the wonderful event earlier this week. Murphy looked to be in amazement that she was back home in the first few seconds after seeing her – barking and being nervous around the person who had only lived in his mind for so long.
All of the puppy’s affection came spilling out as he got a sniff:
“I had no clue Murphy’s reaction would be that strong!” According to Berger. “I was devastated when he didn’t recognize me at first. When he eventually realized it was me, it was the best moment of my life.”
Murphy’s wish has been granted.
This reunion occurred after Berger completed her army training, indicating that she and Murphy will soon be reunited permanently. Berger, who is now a university student, intends to move into a new home with her dog.
It wouldn’t be the same without her:
“For almost three years, he’s been the light of my life, and I want to spend many more with him at my side.”
