Doctors diagnosed Jessica with Pica 5 years ago but have not shown any signs of improvement. So Lindsay tried to find ways to control Jessica’s symptoms. She tried applying reflexology massage on her toes and fingers to help her relax and calm down. However, this method does not seem to work. Lindsay is very worried about her daughter’s future when she grows up.
Continuing with the lack of a specific cure for Pica, Lindsay was constantly looking for different solutions to help Jessica. She consulted many medical professionals and received some helpful suggestions.
Lindsay has also participated in family counseling sessions and sought support from the community to help her and her family overcome the challenges of Pica. The sympathy and sharing from those around have brought a great source of motivation to Lindsay in not giving up and finding the best solution for Jessica.
