Fruit trees require a considerable amount of space that many of us just don’t have. But how about picking a nice and tasty fruit straight from your mini tree that you can grow at home? Yes, bonsai trees are fully capable of growing fruit, even full-sized ones, so don’t be fooled by their small size!

Bonsai trees are kept miniature by using techniques such as pruning, wiring or repotting. Through years of thorough care, the leaves slowly reduce in size, which is important for the tree to appear natural. The fruits they grow, however, can be quite big – similar to the ones grown by their ordinary counterparts. So, in contrast with the leaves, they can seem somewhat artificial on such a small tree. But they aren’t. They are totally real.
