Two orphaned elephants, Timisa and Khanyisa, have become part of this supportive herd. These young elephants thrive under the care of their friends and the adult elephants in the group.
Timisa has a close bond with another elephant named Pisa, both known for their independence and leadership qualities. Despite their strong personalities, they enjoy playing together.
Timisa and Khanyisa often treat each other to sand baths and have a lot of fun playing in the sand. After their playful sessions, they love to splash in the water. Khanyisa, being an albino elephant, takes on a unique pink hue when wet.
Watching the herd help the young ones is heartwarming. They assist the calves in breaking branches as their trunks are still developing.
Gradually, these young elephants are learning to navigate their world with the herdβs guidance.
