Despite the fact that life should be the greatest gift that exists in this world, there are still many people who do not value it and violate the integrity of the most innocent over and over again. On this occasion, a furry newborn was the victim of a terribly cruel act and is struggling to recover after being thrown from a moving car.

Despite the baseness they  committed against the puppy, the arrival of a good woman has helped him get ahead and in canine he has shown great progress.

The unprecedented event occurred in the town of Menfi, located in the province of Sicily, in southern Italy. From there, the activist and founder of the Oasis Ohana organization ,  Chiara Calasanzio, has done the impossible for the furry to recover.

The dog that they have baptized as Hola came into Chiara ‘s arms after a complaint. A neighbor reported the abandonment of a puppy in a field from a moving car.

The woman’s outrage upon receiving the complaint was expressed through a post on her Facebook account.

“La gente está loca: lanzaron a una cachorra desde un auto en movimiento en Menfi. ¡Dan asco! ¡No les bastaba lanzarla del automóvil, no se dignaron ni a detenerse, sino que la tiraron como basura! Ella no es un objeto, sino una vida, la vida más preciosa que han abandonado. Hola gritaba de dolor», dijo Chiara.

La perrita fue rescatada por un vecino y entregada a la fundación, en la cual la remitieron de inmediato a un veterinario para chequear su salud.

Lamentablemente, la peluda había recibido un trauma craneal debido al impacto y esto conllevó a la pérdida temporal de su vista. Esos primeros días tras el rescate fueron decisivos para el futuro de esta perrita, pues no sólo su visión estaba en juego sino su propia vida.

Tras semanas de intensos cuidados, la cachorra comenzó a mejorar e incluso logró despertar su buen apetito.

“Nuestra pequeñita come y a juzgar por cómo ha cobrado peso, por un inicio de dentición y su movilidad, pensamos que puede tener aproximadamente tres semanas a diferencia de lo que parecía cuando la recuperamos: desnutrida y con los ojos cerrados (que en este punto pensamos por el tremendo impacto con el asfalto)”, dijo Chiara.
