Few people seem to keep in mind that all the animals on our planet feel the same way as any human,  and many times they express those emotions even when we don’t notice them.

In the Netherlands, in Baarle-Nassau , a herd of donkeys reminds us that these animals have great teamwork and friendship when viewing the images in this video.

Bram, one of the team members of a farm located in this Dutch town, was fired by his colleagues after they had to resort to euthanasia.

A large number of donkeys came to say goodbye to Bram.

The animal has serious health problems and is kept in a shelter for abandoned and abused animals called  Stichting de Ezelshoeve , where it is cared for by a team of volunteer professionals.

Unfortunately, Bram’s breathing problems are getting worse, so they decide to put him to sleep, but they don’t expect the reaction of the rest of the pack.

It was emotional to see how the rest of the animals mourned Bram’s death, especially one of them, who tried to wake it up.

The foundation relies on donations and only works with volunteers. Its goal is to rehabilitate abused animals and put them up for adoption, although most of them remain on the farm for many years.
