The dump is the easiest location to get food for homeless dogs. A puppy is so little that he may be buried in a landfill amidst massive sharp debris.

Fortunately, a group of volunteers discovered the dog. Before things got any worse, the volunteer crew rushed in to save the puppy.

The dog was then transported to a rescue organization and given special treatment.
