Freya, dubbed “the world’s loneliest dog” and an epileptic shelter dog, will co-star in a Hollywood movie with Sir Anthony Hopkins! The dog’s life was not only turned upside down by this, but it also introduced her to several A-listers and luxurious filming locations and assisted in helping her find a loving permanent home.
The idea for this canine adaptation of Cinderella came to filmmaker Michael Bay after reading a story about a Staffordshire bull terrier dog who spent her first six years of life in the Freshfields Animal Rescue Center and was turned down more than 18,720 times by would-be owners.
Bay tweeted, “We gave the Loneliest Dog a part in Transformers,” after finding it to be tragic. The filmmaker, who has a deep passion for dogs, also pledged to assist in finding her a home.
After some time had passed, Freya had not only excelled as a movie star but also discovered a loving family that wanted to adopt her.
