z14-8 There’s a reason we call them angels, for they seem to possess a kind of ethereal beauty that transcends the physical.It’s not just their delicate features or their downy hair, though those are certainly part of the charm. It’s something deeper, something that speaks to our primal need to nurture and protect. We see in their innocent eyes a reflection of our own lost innocence, a reminder of the pure joy that exists in the world.
Babies are also masters of non-verbal communication. They smile, coo, and giggle, expressing emotions with such clarity and sincerity that it’s impossible not to be drawn in. They cry, too, of course, but even their tears have a certain sweetness, a vulnerability that makes us want to hold them close and chase away their discomfort.
