A couple from Columbus, Ohio, who gained fame in 2010 after sharing a portrait with their six newborns, recently recreated the heartwarming family photo to celebrate their sextuplets turning six. The original image featured the newborns—Rozonno Jr., Josiah, Madison, Olivia, Issac, and Elijah—sleeping around their father, while their mother gazed lovingly at her family.
Six years later, in time for their sextuplets’ sixth birthday, the family returned to the same studio where photographer Brian Killian captured the iconic shot. This time, the children, dressed in matching brown tank tops and jeans, were wide awake, surrounding their father, Rozonno Sr., who matched his wife’s outfit from the previous shoot.Brian noted that it was enjoyable to work with the family again, describing the children as affectionate and joyful. The latest portrait, which took only 15 minutes to shoot using Photoshop, shows the siblings together, much like the original image Brian created.
Aside from the sextuplets’ birthdays, the family is now the focus of a new reality series called “Growing Up McGhee,” which premiered on UPtv. The McGhees, who were the first family in Columbus to have sextuplets, previously gained attention when their family portrait went viral in 2010, leading to appearances on Oprah Winfrey’s show and receiving various gifts despite being married for 11 years and coming from modest backgrounds.
.
The series follows Mia and Rozonno as they navigate work and home life with their six children and a small team of helpers. Mia and Rozonno’s journey to parenthood was marked by challenges, including the loss of twins shortly after birth before being blessed with sextuplets.
Their story was previously featured in the reality series “6 Little McGhees” on the OWN network for three seasons. In their new series, the loving parents and their six children will tackle new milestones like teaching the kids to swim and planning a spring break trip.
