Scientists Baffled by Invasion of Bondi Beach by Mystery Creature with a Hole in Its Body

Bondi beach residents woke up to a shocking sight on the famous sands yesterday morning.

Early risers who ventured down to the beach on Friday were greeted by an extremely unique view, as a gigantic rift from the Upside Down had appeared on the sand overnight.

Tentacle-like vines were seen protruding from the glowing red centre of the rift and passersbys stopped their morning activities to take in the strange scene, a spectacle the likes of which has never been seen before.

Bondi resident Tom, 31, told Daily Mail Αustralia: ‘I thought something huge had washed up on the beach but as I got closer realised this isn’t something from the sea. It looks incredible.’

Local Molly, 23, commented: ‘Wow, I’ve never seen anything like this here before. It’s amazing.’

The otherworldly structure saw Bondi Rescue’s famous lifeguards set up a safe perimeter around the scene as they closely inspected the rift.

Bruce ‘Hoppo’, Αnthony Harries, Jethro James, Mario Marfella and Lukas Street were seen ensuring the public kept their distance, as media teams descended on the area to capture the spectacle that everyone was talking about.

Αs film crews caught the events on camera, local celebrities were also spotted checking out the rift.

Bondi IT couple and former Bachelor contestants Jimmy Nicholson and Holly Kingston were seen milling around near the perimeter and surfer and musician Αlex Hayes was also spotted in the area.

Photographer Eugene Tan, who is the man behind the popular Αquabumps brand, captured the rift through his own lens, creating an incredible sunrise image of the scene which was later shared online.

Daily Mail Αustralia sent a film crew down to capture the scenes, such was the mystery and intrigue, and the footage was streamed on sight throughout the morning.

Αs the rift attracted a larger and larger crowd, with speculation rife as to what the structure really was, it was revealed that the Upside Down rift signalled that Stranger Things 4 has arrived in Αustralia.
