Jake is a beautiful pup who was rescued by The Sato Project when he lived on the streets near a factory in Puerto Rico. He now has the best family and he loves getting all the attention he never had.

Lauren Westling, Jake’s mother, says she can’t imagine how this dog survived on the streets without people to love.

“He is without a doubt the most affectionate dog I have ever met. Also the funniest and most peculiar. He doesn’t seem to know that he’s a dog, he often sits like a huɱaп on the couch,” Lauren said.

Jake has two huɱaп brothers, Weston and Owen, and while he loves them both, it’s Owen he’s closest to.

Jake loves to follow Owen wherever he goes and generally wants to be by his side no matter what .

“Jake waits for him at his bedroom door all the ᴛι̇ɱe and he has a routine at night. When I tuck Owen in, Jake sleeps with him and refuses to leave the bedroom,” Lauren added.

Now that Owen is studying at home using Zoom he can spend more ᴛι̇ɱe not paying attention to Jake, who couldn’t be more excited about it.

Jake is usually pretty well behaved while his brother is on his school activities on Zoom , not seeming to notice that something is on the screen.

However, she recently realized that Owen was in the middle of an activity that could take away her beloved brother’s attention , and she quickly sprang into action.

“For whatever reason, Jake was intrigued by Zoom and wanted to be a part of it,” Lauren said.

Jake began to do everything he could to make himself felt and not only to Owen but also to those on the screen.

He tried to convince Owen that giving him as much attention as possible was the most important thing at that moment , really the only thing that mattered to him was having Owen’s attention.

He snuggled into Owen as much as he could, and of course, Owen couldn’t help but laugh at his adorable and very persistent pup.

“Owen loves Jake so much, which is that we all love him, and his distractions too, although they probably aren’t fun for the teachers, they are for us,” Lauren said.

Without a doubt, Jake feels like one of the family and as such deɱaпds attention and pampering, but he doesn’t realize that there are ᴛι̇ɱes when he can’t.

“Jake feels like he should be the center of attention at all ᴛι̇ɱes and he makes it very clear,” Lauren added.
