Italian farmer Cristian Mallocci recently encountered one of these marvels when his dog, Spelacchia, delivered a litter of five puppies, one of which had green fur. It may sound іпсгedіЬɩe, but it’s a fact! The puppy was born on a farm located on the idyllic Mediterranean island of Sardinia.”
The adorable little pup that you see in the picture above has been affectionately named Pistachio due to his distinct coat color. Unlike his siblings, who sport white fur like their mixed-breed mother, Pistachio’s coat is an uncommon greenish hue.
While his brothers and sisters will soon be up for adoption, the owner of this delightful pooch has decided to keep him on the farm and train him to protect their herd of sheep alongside his mother. It seems that Pistachio is deѕtіпed for a life of adventure and responsibility on the farm, surrounded by his loving family.
The charming green hue of the object сарtᴜгed in the Reuters image is sadly not here to stay for good. According to the owner, the color has already begun to fade and will continue to do so until it disappears entirely.
